Tatted Bliss is one of our more unique pieces. Most of our pottery is created using crocheted doilies. The doily used to make this piece was tatted.
Tatting is a technique for handcrafting a particularly durable lace constructed by a series of knots and loops. It dates back to the early 19th century and was developed to imitate point lace. Tatting can be used to make lace edging as well as doilies, collars, and other decorative pieces.
This piece is stunning with the circular tatted designs and flower pattern. The interlocking circles almost seem to dance and make the most unique impression.
Each bowl comes with a certificate of authenticity.
