Flower Coasters is one of our more unique pieces. Most of our pottery is created using crocheted doilies. The doily used to make this piece was tatted.
Tatting is a technique for handcrafting a particularly durable lace constructed by a series of knots and loops. It dates back to the early 19th century and was developed to imitate point lace. Tatting can be used to make lace edging as well as doilies, collars, and other decorative pieces.
Not only are these pieces gorgeous with the circular tatted designs and flower pattern but each are also fully functional. An elegant addition to any side or coffee table. Available as a set of four coasters each with three silicone feet secured to the bottom to protect your tables.
Each set of four coasters comes tied together with a coordinating bow.
