Rose Garden Dish

Description: Designed by Maggie Weldon and featured in Victoria Magazine, the exquisite Rose Garden Dish is created using soft slabs of porcelain clay that are imprinted with Romanian Point Lace.  The rare distinctive Romanian Point Lace is created using a crochet cord combined with needle weaving techniques. Today there are Romanian woman who make this gorgeous lace to supplement their income. The Garden Lace Dish captures a lasting impression of the lace maker’s soul.

General Info: All Lace Pottery by Maggie Weldon, is made by hand in our North Carolina Studio located in Kernersville, NC. Using high fire porcelain clay and glazes each piece is hand cut and hand molded. No two pieces are exactly the same. The shapes are not perfect.  This imperfection adds to the uniqueness, warmth and charm of the pottery.  Each distinctive piece comes with a certificate of authenticity which details our process and authenticates the piece. Every item is food safe and available in a variety of glazes shown below.
