Description: Designed by Maggie Weldon these Mini Medallion ornaments were created using soft slabs of porcelain clay and needle lace that was hand crafted by 92 year old lace maker, Minnie Bishop.  Needle Lace is made using a fine needle and thread in combination with over 100 stitches! We are blessed to have Minnie creating her very rare needle lace for our collection. These exquisite Medallion Ornaments capture a lasting impression of Minnie's soul.

General Info: All Lace Pottery by Maggie Weldon, is made by hand in our North Carolina Studio located in Kernersville, NC. Using high fire porcelain clay and glazes each piece is hand cut and hand molded. No two pieces are exactly the same. The shapes are not perfect.  This imperfection adds to the uniqueness, warmth and charm of the pottery.  Each distinctive piece comes with a certificate of authenticity which details our process and authenticates the piece. Every item is food safe and available in a variety of glazes shown below.
